What to Expect
Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our family.
We suggest that you complete your initial health paperwork forms before your first visit;

Read below to learn more about each step of the process in our office.
During the initial consultation, we’re going to sit down to discuss your health concerns and goals. This initial visit is designed for you to learn more about Dr. Derek Rupp and learn about the recommended care plan options you will have.
You will get a chance to tell us about how your health problems started, what it feels like, what you’ve done about it so far, and what may have worked before… even if it was just temporarily. We will then talk about a plan to get you to your intended goal.
If after hearing about your problem it seems that your condition may be helped by chiropractic, I will perform an examination. There have been a few times where it has been very clear to me following the consultation that my office is simply not the best place for the patient.
I don’t accept patients for care that I don’t believe I can help. So I first evaluate your condition during the consultation. I then perform range of motion tests, a chiropractic spinal examination and a surface EMG scan.
“Will I need X-rays?”
If after your consultation and examination I determine that x-rays of your spine are needed, we will perform an x-ray examination. X-rays are not needed for every person or every condition. The need for x-rays will be determined on a case-by-case basis and the reason for the tests will be explained to you before they are performed.
Most people are amazed to see their x-rays up close. In many cases, you’ll be able to identify your own misalignments and degeneration.
At the end of your first visit, you will be making a follow up appointment to review what Dr. Rupp found during his examinations. This follow up visit is a report of findings in which I go over the results of your examinations and tests. More importantly, I will also explain exactly if I can help you and what it will take for you to live a Healthier, Happier and Longer life…
All of your treatment and financial options will be explained in detail at this time. I will also be able to answer all of your questions at this time. Some of the most frequent questions I am asked at this visit are:
1. Can you help me?
2. How long will it take?
3. How often do I need to come in?
4. How much does my insurance cover?
